Double square brackets used for Revo do not work

Hello everyone

I have just found out that such double square brackets as in '[[++site_name]]' and '[[*pagetitle]]', which are given in Chapter 2 of The Official Guide, do not work at least in Evolution 1.0.10. This difference is not explained in MODX Evolution Notes at the end of Chapter 2 either.

Evo uses a slightly different tag structure, e.g. [*pagetitle*] in Evo vs. [[*pagetitle]] in Revo. Here's a quick reference: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Tag+Syntax

Thanks a lot; that`s just what I wanted. Also, the "Search by Key" does not exist in Evo. Do you happen to know what could substitute for the Search box in Evo?

More to the point, the Official Guide instructs that you should create new webpages and tell MODX where they are by going to System/System Settings, which does not exist in Evolution. Please someone let me know what you can do to tell MODX the locations of newly created webpages.
