[solved] +publishedon outputs "0"

Another update here.

When I first installed the site I installed flexibility tempplate and its these pages that do not have dates on, some of the pages I have created since do appear to have dates on and by testing with them using the code


that output:
- Thu, 01 Jan 1970 01:33:33

I tested this on a page that I just created so a step in the right direction I just think I need to find a way to convert this timestamp thing!

Solved it, I have re-created the pages and now what I tried right at the start works perfect


I guess most people would have worked this out without the need for a forum post sorry to have wasted anyone's time hopefully I wont be tripped up on this issue again.

Probably the same situation with the default resource #1. If the pages are installed directly into the database by the installer, then they won't have a publishedon date. You can always use the Published On date-picker in their Settings tab; no need to actually re-create them.

I think your original code would work with a couple small mods:


[[+pagetitle]] - [[[[*publishedon:notempty=`*publishedon`:else=`*createdon`]]:strtotime:date=`%a, %d %b %Y %T`]]
