    Hi Guys

    I´m trying to install MODX on a server with ISP Manager as control panel. The thing is that i´m not having my website working normally.

    The public folder it´s resolving at public_html -> /www/site.com/, so in a folder inside the server.

    I used a php function to return the full path to setup MODX configs:

    <?php
    echo dirname(__FILE__);
    ?>

    This function returns me the following path - /var/www/user/data/www/site.com - and i used the path normally on /config.inc.php, core/config/config.inc.php , connectors/config.inc.php and manager/config.inc.php.

    I used the following logics on the core/config/ config.inc.php file but nothing happened:

    if (!defined('MODX_CONNECTORS_PATH')) {
        $modx_connectors_path= '/var/www/user/data/www/site.com/connectors/';
        $modx_connectors_url= '/site.com/connectors/';
        define('MODX_CONNECTORS_PATH', $modx_connectors_path);
        define('MODX_CONNECTORS_URL', $modx_connectors_url);
    }

    and

    if (!defined('MODX_CONNECTORS_PATH')) {
        $modx_connectors_path= '/var/www/user/data/www/site.com/connectors/';
        $modx_connectors_url= '/connectors/';
        define('MODX_CONNECTORS_PATH', $modx_connectors_path);
        define('MODX_CONNECTORS_URL', $modx_connectors_url);
    }

    .

    The db connection it´s working because it´s pushing me pages content, but i have not access to the manager and plugins are not working... for example i´m using Wayfinder for the menus and the website it´s not showing them at the moment.

    Anyone knows what i´m doing wrong?

    Many thanks in advance,
    Nuno

      Did you edit all the files necessary and re-run setup as it's outlined in the RTFM

        Yes!!! I just forgot to make mention to something. As ISP manager runs under the url www.site.com/manager i had to change the MODX manager folder to admin, and then, of course, on the core config file, i did the convenient changes!! Could this be the problem?

          Ok ok!!! I solved partially the problem!!!! It was related to folder permitions on core/cache and assets/components

          Now, as i had to change the manager folder name, how can i have this work?

              Double-check all the paths *and* urls in the config.inc.php file, especially the MODX_MANAGER_PATH.

              Also, check the three config.core.php files (in the modx root, connectors, and manager folders).

              Delete all files in the core/cache directory and clear your browser cache and cookies before trying to log in.
