    First my system :

    OS X 10.8.4
    MAM Pro 1.9.4
    PHP 5.2.13
    MySql 5.1.44
    Modx 2.2.1
    Articles 1.5.1

I install a live site to my local computer. I followed the instructions for the migration. This worked well despite a few minor problems that were solved.

However, I could not solve this major problem.

The Articles container no longer appear in the resource tree and it is impossible to create a Articles container, because the option is not in the menu. But all the children of the Articles Container are visible in the database.

Does anyone have an idea how to resolve this problem?

Thank you for your solutions [ed. note: jber last edited this post 13 years, 2 months ago.]

Upgrading might restore any missing or corrupted parts of Articles.

            Hi,

I think I just came accross the same problem. You might want to check your system settings.

Articles have path definition on "extension_packages" key. When you migrate the path might change; it needs to be adjusted manually.

Go to: System Settings > Extension Packages & check if it is using the correct path. Don't forget to clear your cache afterwards.

Hopefully this works for you, if not then maybe you've got another issue smiley

By correcting the extension_packages path , everything is back to normal. Thank, bergy_nj

The update could have made the correction of the extension_packages path, I guess. Thank, BobRay

For others who find this. The extension_packages System Setting is not in the Articles namespace (at least in the current version), but you can find it quickly by typing extension_packages in the search box at the upper right of the System Settings grid and pressing 'Enter'.
