I have a site that I want to move that is in a test folder. I want to move it to where the old (live) site is located. Everytime I do the site works, but when I click on a link it takes me back the index id in the test folder. I have tried to upgrade the MODX in this live folder but then my login id and password does not work. I'm usinf MODX Rev 2.2.7. I have tried everything i can think of to get this to work but no luck. I thought it would be easy since it is on the same server and I just wanted to move it from one folder to another. Please help. Thank you

First, check all the config files - the three core.config.php files and the core/config/config.inc.php file.
Next, delete all of the directories under the core/cache/ directory. Also make sure to clear your browser cache and delete all cookies for the domain.
I just did something to my test site i get this error when i go to the manager. I didnt do anything to it though. I don't understand.

There are three core.config.php files, one in the site's root, one in the connectors directory, and one in the manager directory. Make sure that the first line in those three files are properly indicating the full path to your core directory. Here's my local installation...

Now when I moved it I get this error
This page requires AC_RunActiveContent.js.
and it doesn't allow me to log into the new manager in the new folder???? What the heck?

When moving your site to a new directory or a new server make sure you follow the steps outline
here and all will be fine.
