I am working on a website that the admin adds users based on two categories: worker and customer. The admin will add each user as customers wish, giving them a username and password to the website. Upon logging in, the customer will arrive to their personal page with specific information givien by the admin. The user will only be able to view this page and the pages that don’t need to be logged into.

How is this done? I know how to add users, by is there a way to add a user, and a page is made upon the added user, and an email sent with url, username, and password? Help please.

    Thanks

      Have a look into WebloginPE.

A progressively enhanced, AJAX capable, complete web user management snippet for MODx. This snippet manages web user login, logout, registration, profile editing, profile deleting, password recovery, and user activation. It can also perform these tasks asynchronously with javascript.

I have a setup that does a fairly similar kind of thing to this. I have removed the ability for users to create accounts, and added that in with the general front-end admin (default is for users to create accounts).
