Hi
I need to know how to deploy my web application built with MODx.
I mean that my final website will be distributed (as MODx) in ZIP format and should have (as MODx) an installer that should install my website including my Manager settings plus a default username & password for Admin.
Shall I hack the original /Setup folder or is there anything else I can use to accomplish this ?

The best way is to use
Vapor.
1. Install and run the Vapor scripts to package your development site
2. Get the site package from core/packages
3. Install the same version of MODx fresh on your final server
4. Upload the Vapor package to the new core/packages
5. Install the Vapor package as a local package using Package Manager.
