Hi, first post and noob MODX user.
PROBLEM: When creating new user group and assigning context access, I get an "Expected token ')': Warning igbinary_unserialize_array: end of data in /home/cms/modx/modx-2.2.8-pl/core/model/modx/modx.class.php on line 2361..." error message. I've attached the screenshot for clarity.
Any ideas on how to fix this or maybe I'm doing something wrong? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
:-)

I don't think you're doing anything wrong.
Try turning off the compress_js and compress_css System Settings, manually deleting all files in the core/cache directory, and clearing your browser cache and cookies. I don't think it will help, but it's always good to try it first.
If that doesn't work, my best guess is that you have a corrupted file in your install. It's fairly common if you transfer the files individually with FTP. See this for an alternative method:
http://bobsguides.com/modx-upgrade-faq.html. It's about upgrading, but the method of transferring the files is the same for a new install.
I always hesitate to blame the host, but server configuration issues can drive you nuts. That's why I will only work on MODX-friendly hosts.
