I've set up MiniShop2 with categories and products. I've also installed AdvSearch because I couldn't get mSearch to work.
The products have template variables which are stored in modx_site_tmplvar_contentvalues. Each product in modx_ms2_products has a vendor field (e.g. 1) and the vendor names are stored in modx_ms2_vendors (e.g. 1 is VendorName1).
Running a default AdvSearch returns results from all page resources including MiniShop2 products. I'm now trying to set up a faceted search like the DVD demo. I don't know whether it can be done using the default functionality or whether I need a custom hook. It's at this point that I get stuck despite reading the documentation.
I'd like users to be able to choose from three select boxes (vendor, custom field 1 and custom field 2) and then run the search.
I've attached the MiniShop2 schema file as it might help clarify the data structure.
