    Best,

Does anyone know how I can solve the following problem

Early this year, the client decided to stop the project website.
I removed the installation after I made a backup.
    Now the project is resumed.
I reinstalled modx and the backup.
The old website works but the problem is the login backend doesn't work and I need to make changes.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

    Regards
    Henk Jan

Get the original installation package for that version, extract the setup folder, and upload it to the server. Run the setup in upgrade mode.

Manually delete all of the folders under the core/cache folder.

Clear your browser cache and cookies for the domain.

        Hi,
Thanks for the information. Unfortunately it doesn't work. perhaps I do something wrong but I have tried several of possibilities.
To Install Modx I use DirectAdmin / Installatron...
The latest backup is from 18 march 2013 so I thought I do install Modx version 2.2.6-PL and changes the files/folders from the backup: assets, config.core.php, connectors, core, ht.access, index.php, manager at the server (for this I use filezilla)
I do see the site but I still have problems with login backend.

        Regards,

        Henk-Jan
