Cannot browse/upload images with TinyMCE 3.2.4.1 in Evo 1.0.10

When I click the image icon, the browser comes up but shows no existing files or folders. If I try to upload an image it says 'File Type not Allowed'.

Would anyone know what I can do to solve this?

Check your user's User tab and see if the user's file types and path setting is set to override the site default. Also make sure the filetype case is specified (.jpg may be allowed, is .JPG?). Double-check the paths and URLs in both System Settings tabs (Interface and Features, File Manager), and check their permissions as well.

Ah thanks thats worked somewhat - I can now view the files but I cannot actually select them to include in my resource content. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
