Hello. I have gallery 1.5.2 installed on revo. Everything appears to have installed correctly apart from the fact that any images that are uploaded neither appear on the front or in the back manager. On the front there is just the typical icons you see on a web page when an image fails to load and it's the same in the manager as well. I can see that when i upload images, they do go to what looks like their correct folder /files/assets/gallery/1 for example. The images are in there, but nothing displays in the site. I've searched everywhere and did find some similar questions on here but they were unanswered. Any other info i could find didn't solve the problem either (such as checking paths in system settings for gallery and also namespaces which appear correct to me).

I'm wondering if this might have something to do with the site being on a temporary url until it's published live? (for example, it's an ip-address/sitename.com in order to access it on the server). Maybe someone out there might have an idea so i thought i'd reach out.

Could you post your Gallery call and the album row Tpl code?

Sure, inside my template i use this-

[[!Gallery?
&album=`[[*gallerySelector]]`
&plugin=`galleriffic`
]]

Which works fine, in the sense that front end, i can see the gallery on the page and the javascript timer is spinning round trying to show the image but it can't find it. And the thumbnails on both the front and in the manager (componenets > Gallery) thumbnails do not appear either (only showing the alt text instead of the image). And yet the images i upload in Gallery are going to their correct folders etc.

I'm not sure where to locate album row Tpl which you mention so i'm looking for that now.

Also, if i use firebug and try to follow the image url on say the front for example, i am brought to a black screen with a long url on it and a message at the end which basically reads- "image... cannot be displayed because it contains errors" So my gut feeling when i first seen this early this morning was that there is an issue with the file path.. it cannot find the image but i really can't figure it out.

I found this code inside the chunk called galAlbumRowTpl if this is the code you mean when you say album row Tpl..

<li[[+cls:notempty=` class="[[+cls]]"`[[+showName:notempty=`[[+name]]`]]
