    I see some changes in my page faster searching of data

    but the data fetch by the query is not that accurate.

    example:

    in my later version of search with 'LIKE'

    the keyword 'acid' show results of 373 data

    while in the latest version of the search with match against

    it only results 15 data

    what would you think is the problem?

      It is due to nature of default MATCH AGAINST searches. You can use boolean search to make it more precise: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/fulltext-boolean.html

      Note that you need to explicitly once again make the modifications to all match parts.

        yeah I will modify the query, but I'm not sure change also my fulltext index?should I change it?

          You do not need to modify the index, just the query parts for matching.

            I dont what I am missing but the search result is not that accurate

            I choose a keyword which has a 1 result but when I try it I results 0??


            what should I do? sad
