I am using a custom media source located at assets/uploads. I have the thumbnail set to JPG quality 60. In the file browser I have say 100 directories with child directories. Say there is approx 50 thumbnails per child directory and each file is <70KB....it is taking forever for the thumbnails to populate in the Modx file browser. Like minutes to display 50 thumbs in a directory. Any system settings I can tweak and how does the File Browser handle thumbs?..Are they first converted using phpthumb to a cached location and is it this process causing the issue.
