    Hello, i've been working with MODX for a few years now, I'm experienced in it but at a complete loss right now.

    I am on 2.2.7 with the patch installed. As soon as MODX builds cache it screws my back end up and everything comes to a crawl/shuts the server down. Some of the errors I am able to pull are

    [2013-07-21 12:31:13] (ERROR @ /index.php) Error caching lexicon topic lexicon/en/core/tv_widget
    [2013-07-21 12:31:13] (ERROR @ /index.php) Error caching lexicon topic lexicon/en/core/tv_widget
    [2013-07-21 12:31:13] (ERROR @ /index.php) Error caching lexicon topic lexicon/en/core/tv_widget
    [2013-07-21 12:31:14] (ERROR @ /index.php) Could not cache source data for 26.
    [2013-07-21 12:31:14] (ERROR @ /index.php) Could not cache source data for 26.

    [2013-07-21 12:32:00] (ERROR @ /index.php) Error caching lexicon topic lexicon/en/wayfinder/properties

    [2013-07-21 12:32:42] (ERROR @ /index.php) Could not cache resource 1

    Attached is a screen shot of the back end after it glitches. I already turned compress js/css off manually in the DB. That is not the issue.

    Any help/suggestions? I have been at a stand still for 2 weeks on a job trying to figure this out. If I SSH into the server and delete the cache folder I can get it to come back but after 2-3 moves its back to square one, must dump cache etc...rinse and repeat. Driving me crazy

      When trying to dump the cache when its jammed I constantly get this response from terminal

      cache]$ rm -rf *
      rm: cannot remove `lexicon_topics/lexicon/en/core/.nfs00000000021598190000056d': Device or resource busy

        I feel like it could be a MIGX issue. Does anyone know if I reinstall MIGX will it delete all the entries throughout the site?

        I am attempting to get the error log filled to help with troubleshooting

        [2013-07-21 12:54:53] (ERROR @ /assets/components/migx/connector.php) Error 42S02 executing statement:
        Array
        (
        [0] => 42S02
        [1] => 1146
        [2] => Table 'mysite.modx_migx_configs' doesn't exist
        )

        Does anyone think a re-install will fix?

          Back up your database first, but I have uninstalled, removed, and re-installed MIGx without losing anything.

            Backed up the DB and reinstalled MIGX...no luck. What would be a reason why a data source cannot be cached?

              You might try a full, proper upgrade to 2.2.8; that might fix the problem.

                So just wanted to repost to help others incase this happens. I thought I was having a issue with migx and I went to the package manager and reinstalled it. Apparently I never went back into the component and ran the setup. MIGX was showing up, working, but throwing a database error. Ran the setup and all seems well now.
