    For example, I would like to have all the articles with tag 'aquarium' shown on a webpage outside of articles. There has to be a way to do this because it seems it is built in to articles. I click the tag in the tag cloud and it shows me all the post tagged with that tag.

    I saw another post that said to try this:

    [[!getResources?
    &parents=`25`
    &tpl=`mdx_ArticleRowTpl2column`
    &showHidden=`1`
    &limit=`20`
    &includeTVs=`1`
    &processTVs=`1`
    &tvFilters=`articlestags==aquarium`
    ]]

    but it doesn't seem to work.

    any ideas?

    Thanks!

      Articles is just a set of resources with all the display/organization snippets built-in. You can use any of the tag listing snippets you like anywhere on the site, just as if these were ordinary resources with ordinary TVs.

      The one big "gotcha" to remember is that Articles resources are automatically set to not show in a menu, so if you are going to use one of the tagging or listing snippets you'll most likely need to use the snippet's "show-hidden" property; what it's called differs for different snippets.

          I guess I should be more clear what I am trying do. And then you guys can tell me the best way to do it.

          Let's say I have a blog with the following tags:

          Tag1
          Tag2
          Tag3
          tag4

          I would like my main navigation to look like this

          Home -- Blog -- Tag1 -- Tag2 -- Tag3 -- Tag4

          and each tag page would only show the blog posts with that tag in it.

          what would be the best to accomplish this?

          I was trying to use getresources and filter by tag, but that doesn't seem to be working.

          Thnanks

            Then something like this might be more useful http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/tagLister

            As far as building a main menu structure using this, I would create the top-level resource structure to match, taking advantage of Wayfinder's categoryFoldersTpl property, and have the tagLister as part of my Wayfinder tpl, using an output modifier in the tpl to conditionally run the tagLister snippet (Make sure your Home and Blog IDs are lower than that for the tag items and use > condition) http://modx.com/blog/2012/09/14/tags-as-the-result-or-how-conditionals-are-like-mosquitoes/
