    Hello!

When logging into manager I cannot expand Resources tree. There just stays "Web" and before when I clicked on it, it exanded and listed Resources, now it just says "Loading..." for few seconds and then nothing happens. What could be wrong??
I had Revo 2.2.0 before, and then tried to upgrade to 2.2.8. But this issue still exists.

    Please help!

I've had this happen with a resource with a bad pagetitle. For example, I've had problems with the little (r) symbol. Changing it to the HTML entity solved the problem. Apparently the Javascript engine in some browsers (and some versions of some browsers) can choke on some characters.

Great but how can I check that? I cannot even list anything. Do I have to look into database table? Which table?
It does not work in any browser. I tried with Firefox, IE, Chrome. Always the same problem.

If that is the problem, you would probably find it by looking at the last few rows in the database. If that is the problem, then nobody would have been likely to be adding any more resources after the Tree failed.

Another thing to try is to make sure your caches are cleared and cookies for the domain are deleted in your browser, although since it's doing the same thing on multiple browsers that probably isn't the issue.

Also you can try to manually delete all the folders under the core/cache/ folder.

This has solved the problem. Thank you very much!

Especially on a shared server, where you may have hundreds of websites hosted, all demanding files from the poor server, it's not unusual for files that are being written/read a lot to get corrupted from time to time. Timestamps, file size, permissions and other metadata the server needs to keep track of its files can be mixed up or step on each other - all it takes is one byte to hiccup and get written to the wrong spot on a hard drive.

Actually, that sort of thing happens fairly frequently, but usually it's not in a place that makes much difference, and the system can either safely ignore it or work around it. When you think about it, it's really amazing that it works at all. All that data, nothing more than a thin layer of rust magnetically polarized by tiny electric charges. Well, unless you've got SSD storage, which is another matter altogether...

Anyway, deleting the whole cache and forcing it to be re-written from scratch can solve a lot of problems.
