Subscription Membership System

I am interested in building a subscription based membership event registration system using MODX.

I want users to pay for a membership and when they do, be issued a certain number of base "points" that they can then use to sign up for existing "events" or to create their own event that other members can then sign up for.

I would like to include a tiered affiliate system and social networking functionality so that users can recommend events to their friends and be paid once the user signs up for a membership.

Users will be allowed to purchase POINT packages and will also be issued REWARD points for doing certain things like sharing on facebook, joining events, creating events, leaving testimonials, etc.

Am I confusing you yet?

This would have helped, but AFAIK, it's no longer under development: http://modx.com/extras/package/subscribeme. It may still work for you, though.

Would anyone be willing to pick this project up as SubscribeMe adds huge value to MODX. I am currently developing a vacation rental site and would like to use MODX, but without a paid subscription plugin my project will be very tricky.

Will like to learn what becomes of this thread.
