Option “Create Articles Here” Not Showing

    I downloaded the 'Articles' package through the package manager and it installed the packages successfully, but when I attempt to add an article via the resources as seen here: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/ADDON/Articles.Creating+a+Blog

    I don't get the "Create Articles Here" option. I have tried clearing my cache and reinstalling the package. Any suggestions?

      Did you delete the files in the core/cache folder, or did you use the cache clear from the manager?

      If you used the manager's menu option to clear it, try deleting all the files manually. Log out of MODX, clear the core/cache folder's files, and log back in. Oh, clear the browser's cache as well.

        Unless the bug has been fixed, you don't want to create articles that way anyway (they disappear).

        Try right-clicking on the Blog container and selecting "Manage Articles"

        That will take you to the Articles dashboard where you'll see a "New Article" button.
