Something's very wrong with that horse.

This question has been answered by goldsky. See the first response.
Is this repeatable? If so, have you tried a traditional installation?
The setup process went well until to the "database" selection.
And then....
after I clicked the "Next" button, rather than go to the "context" option, it went back to the start page.
I've dug the code: www\setup\controllers\database.php
It seems that something swallowed the $install->settings before it was processed further by www\setup\controllers\context.php.
Connecting to database server: Success!
- Checking MySQL server version: OK! Running: 5.5.32-cll
- Checking MySQL client version: OK! Running: 5.5.32
Again, only happens on Firefox. I couldn't get this hidden fields out when using Chrome.4. Then fills up everything, the database credentials, SKIP the database test link, fills up the admin credentials.
John Reid: Hi ho Silver, away!
Tonto: Never do that again.
