Can you be more specific? "our server went crazy" doesn't give us much to go on. What, exactly, are you seeing and what have you tried?

Which version of MODx? PHP version? What kind of server, Windows?

Well, if it actually went full on crazy, Windows seems likely.
Seriously though, and crazy servers aside... What isn't working, the front end website or the MODX Manager, or both? What do you see? Exactly what fixes are you referring to when you say MODX recommended fixes?
Susan's and Bob's questions should be answered too.
Hi all...sorry i have been in a grad class all week and time has been at a premium...sorry to be vague...so modx is not recognizing pages that exist in the database and routing the user to the right page...we did all the fixs that modx recommended and still nothing....This all started when someone used up all our space on the server and crashed our site.
PS...i am not the web guy...a buddy did the site for us, but he has no real knowledge of modx, so hence why he can't fix it...I am the one who updates all the content etc etc...but i am working to learn more about it so we can resolve this
Thanks again,
Marc
Some things to try:
Log out
Manually delete all files in the core/cache directory.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Log back in.
Also:
Go into cPanel or the equivalent and in PhpMyAdmin, repair all the database tables.
I am pretty sure my web guy would have done the first steps bob...i will ask him if he did the second....my big problem is he got really busy and is telling me he doesnt know enough about modx to fix it

I think it's best to not assume that your guy did clear the core/cache files, and go ahead and do it again as Bob suggested. It can't hurt, and might help.
What exact error do you get when you try to view a page, or what page doesn't "route to the correct page", and which page does it actually route to?
Additionally, what exactly are the fixes that you tried that "MODX" recommended?
Do you have access to the control panel at the hosting? If so, you can go into the phpMyAdmin there and repair the database tables yourself.
When you say that the server was crashed, what exactly transpired after this occurrence? Did someone move the site off that server, or rebuild the server and then load your site back onto it? You have manager access, correct? What happens when you use the view/preview option from within the manager? Do the pages show for you properly?
Sorry for so many questions, but without some decent information about what's happening, when it happens, and how it happens, it's really hard (let's say, impossible even) to help you fix it.
Ok sorry it took so long to get back to you..it seems our web guy does not want me poking around in the site...so what i am going to have to do is find someone who knows modx to fix the site...hopefully he will let that person in...he has the site on lockdown, i cannot get into the content manager at all right now
