Anyone please help me out. I wanna know what all I need to run MODX. Does it supports variety of machines and environment Can anyone tell me that what if I wanna use my favorite avascript library with MODX platform.

MODx doesn't care what Javascript you use. It's up to you to add the links to your libraries in the template.
MODx will run on just about any system that supports PHP and MySQL. A few other requirements are listed here

Do you intend to run MODx on a local machine? If so, what is your OS? There are different web development environment packages for various platforms. I use MAMP on my MacbookPro.
If you don't want a local environment, go for the free Lab account (see the green button in the MODx Cloud advertisement on the right of this page).
