Hi, I have a strange problem. I installed Modx Rev locally more than once. I tried to install ModxRev on my live hosting (go daddy). The installation was successful without any errors however whenver i try to access the MODX Rev dashboard, I am getting half of the page blank. (see attached) ONLY the grey bar at the top is visible. Nothing else. Can someone please help?

    thanks
    • Try going into the database and in the system_settings table set the compress_js and compress_css to 0.

          • Also, if your manager_log table has a large number of rows, you might try emptying (aka truncating) that table. I ran into an install recently with a blank dashboard, and that turned out to be the problem. If you can confirm or deny this, that would be appreciated.

              • How did you install it at GoDaddy? With their scripting? And what exactly are your environment's specifications?

I've also seen this when php versioning is wonked. Once, a server downgraded php on me, yet left the php.ini from the newer version.

Run php.info and compare that to the installed version in the cPanel. Some hosts need help running php 5.3 with an add handler in .htaccess. You may want to ask them about it.

                i.e.
                # Use PHP 5.3
                AddType application/x-httpd-php53 .php

Or, decide you want a real MODX host and save yourself all the headaches. (see my sig)

Thanx Sottwell, that worked for me!
I had a similar issue, only the top/header of the manager was visible.
