Unable to access Manager after Advanced Upgrade

Dear all,
I am well aware that this is going to have been my fault but here goes...
I did an Advanced Install of ModX (security conscious me) a couple of months back and all went swimmingly.
However, after installing the update today (from the Advanced Package v.2.2.8-pl-advanced) I can't get to the manager page. My site just redirects me to my main homepage.
My site manager page is http://www.stoffershorty.com/onlyme/.
There were no error messages, the file & directory permissions are OK, my database is OK and my config.inc.php file has not been overwritten.
I was upgrading from version 2.2.7-pl of Revolution.
Any ideas would be most appreciated and solutions even better!

You could try:

• Manually clear the MODX cache folder and your browser cache
• Double check that '$modx_manager_path' and '$modx_manager_url' are correct in your config.inc.php file
• Re-run the 2.2.8-pl-advanced setup and see if there are any warnings or errors generated
• If you have manually uploaded the new files and folders make sure you haven't missed anything

Thanks David. I tried all that but it still didn't work.
In the end, I deleted everything and dropped the database tables and started from scratch.
It's all up & running now. Must have been one of those weird glitches as I have upgraded other ModX installations without a problem.
