...would you use modx? I'm loving this platform so far, but it seems difficult in the subscription ACL department. Looking for some input from more experienced users. I need to be able to have contractors and employers with differing subscription levels being able to submit jobs, apply to jobs etc.
Would appreciate some input on how you might go about this in modx revo.
Thanks,
Aubrey
I'd like a bit of feedback on this, too. It seems there may be a lot you can do with Articles, Archivist, GetResources and there's a "FormUpload" plugin too for CV submission. Has anyone successfully created a recruitment board using Modx? Thanks also.
You will struggle with the payment side of things - maybe look into a stripe integration
I would probably try to do it with Subscribe and Notify. Subscribe doesn't have any built-in payment features, but I think you might be able to add them as part of the registration process. Subscribe will help segregate users by both user groups and tags.
Since Subscribe uses the standard Register and ConfirmRegister snippets and it might be possible to use pre- and/or postHooks on them to handle payments via an API to Stripe, PayPal, or GumRoad.
You might also take a look at Mark Hamstra's SubscribeMe, though it is no longer being supported or developed.
