filedownloader with utf8 latin filename conversion

filedownloader cannot deal with different charsets eg utf8 in html and latin for filenames on the server. Eg [[+fd.filename]] is Verkaufsgespräch instead of Verkaufsgespräch.

Tried to solve this with a simple snippet


but calling

gives no output
and

still gives Verkaufsgespräch

found it
was using the modifier in a templatechunk with @CODE:

regular in an extra chunk file the modifiere gets processed
