I have a strange problem, that just occured, all of a sudden the css files I upload into my modx asset folders are being sent as text/html, resulting in broken pages. I have no idea why that happend, or how to fix that, and I didn't change any settings or anything like that.
Can anybody help please?
Ok so for all people who the same issue happens to: If you are hosting with godaddy, check if your ftp server address has changed. This happened to me today and this was the reason why my css files got somehow corrupted while trying to upload. Really strange, but now I changed the ftp server address and everything is fine again.

Yeah, I've had GoDaddy change servers on me before. I haven't used them for a long time though. Now if a client doesn't have a dedicated server, I'll either use the MODx Cloud (or siphonlabs or whatever), or if that's too expensive for them what with having to have an email service as well, I'll go with SkyToaster. I'm also checking out A2; so far they seem quite nice.
Skytoaster? Never heard of them, will check them out. I was hosting with domainfactory out of Germany for over 8 years for most of my corporate clients, and they are by far the best ones over there. More expensive than US hosters, but great service. Only drawback, and a major one, their website admin is not in English (yet). I am using godaddy for some of my personal websites, without major issues so far.

I like SkyToaster mainly because Patrick is a frequent poster on the forums. And their own site is on MODx. I'm using their email service for my own MODx Cloud-based site.
