    Hi,

So I have a document structure like this on my test site: Home > Europe > Spain > Barcelona

And naturally I would, when viewiing page about Barcelona, want to have URL like this: www.site.com/europe/spain/barcelona.html

The question is... how to do it? I realize I need to use a snippet to get ALL of the parents of the current resource and implement that into Custom URL pattern, but don't know which snippet to use.

    Any help will be appreaciated.

Thanks. [ed. note: zoran_ last edited this post 13 years, 3 months ago.]

Easy. Just go into your System Settings and make sure your friendly URLs is set to use the full friendly path. Exactly what setting this is depends on which version of MODx you are using.

I am using Revo 2.2.8 , but I only have:

        Use Friendly URLs [Yes]
        Use Strict Friendly URLs [No]

I can't find the option to set a "full friendly path" ?

Found it, it was use_alias_path and setting it to Yes.

          Thanks!
