How to: List of publications, sortable by different criteria, and shown on different pages

Hi everbody,
(Using Evolution 1.10)

For a research group we need a list of all publications by all people. We would like to have the choice to sort the publications by year and people, and there should be also the possiblilty to show the publications of a person at the persons info-site.

I would start by creating a document for each publication with TVs for year, title, author etc. So I can use ditto for sort it by that.

I think a problem will be, that usually there are different authors for one paper, sometimes a name is first, others its the second or third place. Is it possible to create a list listing all publications, even with name on the second or third position?

For showing the publications on a persons site, I thought best would be again to start a ditto call, where i define the number of the publications document.

Has anyone experience with this kind of publication list?
Is this a good way to solve the problem, or is there a complete different approach?

Thank you
