I just started evaluating modx to determine if I want to use it for an upcoming project. I'm looking at how to create some template variables to define a specific data structure. Is there a way to create a template variable that has multiple values for the same document? For example, I am building a site for a local theatre and want to structure out a Production template. Each production has multiple performance dates, so is there a way I can have a template variable that allows me to add a list of dates? Another example on the same template would be adding multiple cast/crew members to the Production.

Any help would be appreciated as I have only barely dipped my finger into development with modx.

you can either use the MIGX-TV, which stores all its records into one TV as a json-string.
Or you can use a MIGXdb-TV, which can handle records of custom-tables.

easier to setup is the MIGX-TV, but if you need searching and build relations between records, it may be better to use custom-tables and MIGXdb-TV.

If you have any further questions about it, you can post them in the MIGX-board.
