Gallery Component Revo 2.2.8

Very recently migrated a modx revo installation from a shared host to a VPS.

VPS - CentOS 6.4
Plesk 11.0.9
PHP v 5.3.3

I stepped on through the routine procedure of moving a site. The config files were correctly adjusted, the database has the correct server path in the workspaces table path attribute.

The site is working except that the gallery component in the components menu is failing.
The error is a 500 http server error.

At this time I have upgraded the version of revo to the latest (2.2.8). Performed an upgrade install.
Also tried updating the gallery package, this did not work so I removed the gallery package via the package management facility in revo.
Tried a reinstall of the latest version of gallery. Still no success

When you uninstalled the package did you select force package removal? After doing this download and re-install it again, make sure to clear you cache manually by deleting everything inside the core > cache folder and try again, hopefully that will solve your issues.
