How to install modx from git

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction of how to install modx from github? maybe there is a tutorial somewhere?

For anyone trying to do the same:

1) signup to github
2) download github for mac
3) navigate to the repository on the github website andclick the clone for mac button
3) install mamp for local testing http://www.mamp.info/en/downloads/index.html
4) change the mamp apache document root (in preferences) to your git hub folder
5) follow the guide from the run the build section: http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Git+Installation

I just downloaded the zip file from github, edited the _build/config.sample... files to suit my localhost installation, went to the browser and ran transport.core.php file from the browser. Then I ran setup as usual.
