TV adds ./ in front of asset's filename on replace

Hi all—

I've noticed that often (every time?) when I replace an image or file via a TV a ./ gets added in front of the filename.

I've experienced this using Revo versions on a variety of installations for quite some time. tbh it doesn't seem to cause issues, but I do find this odd!

In all cases of this I use Media Sources, and it seems to happen on every system I have worked on.

Is this a case of me mis-configuring something?

Example Media Source basePath used for the last file I note this on:

assets/images/projects/

baseUrl set the same as basePath.

Nothing else in Media Source setup edited.

When you're selecting a file in that file browser, click the folder in the tree on the left first, even if you're already in right folder. Then select your file and it won't have ./ prepended.

Yes, it's annoying. The ./ is harmless though: some/directory/ and some/./directory/ are equivalent. But I don't like seeing ./ either

Yup, I noticed it happens most of the time but wasn't able to track down a way to stop it. At least I can avoid the annoyance!

As you say, it doesn't harm things, more unsightly than anything.

I do worry that this behaviour may confuse my clients though, I think next to none of them have any knowledge of the fact that "dot slash" means "current directory" and many people are easily worried by unexpected behaviour.
