Hi,
I have installed Articles and it is all working from a functional point of view, however I am having issues with theming. The main "blog" page is fine and is themed without a problem but the "blog posts" page won't seem to theme, it will only use the default theme. I have created the two required templates and assigned them, both in the "Template" tab and under system settings, but for some reason whatever I do when you click through to a post it still uses the default theme. I have tried clearing the MODx cache and browser caches to no avail.
Any suggestions or pointers as how to fix this would be much appreciated.
Cheers Zaphodz
MODx 2.2.7, Articles 1.6.5
OK, so I find that if I put my "blog post" template code into the "sample" template it works, so for some reason, although I am specifying a custom template it is not using it... As before, any suggestions on how to fix this would be much appreciated.

When you go to the tab on the Manage Articles page where you set the template, do you see your own template at the upper right or the original?
Remember that you have to click on the "Save" button after setting your template.
Strange, seems like when you create an blog entry the Template is uses is the one that was in place at the time it was created. If you then assign a new Template it only applies to entries made from that point on. Curious. Does this count as a bug?
Hope this piece of information is useful to someone at some point.

That setting on the blog container page is just the default setting. Basically, it just overrides the Site's default_template System Setting. I only applies when you create a new article.
When you edit each Article, you can set that page's template with the "Uses Template" drop-down on the right side.
It's a feature rather than a bug because you might want to use different templates for different pages on the blog, which would be impossible if changing the blog container setting updated them all.
