    Hello, I just recently updated my Modx Revolution to 2.2-8 and have been trying to migrate my Wordpress blog into Modx, so I got the Articles add-on installed.

    My issue is that the blog home isn't displaying properly. Either the excerpts from the blog turns out (which are inside of [[*content]]) and the footer/right-bar is broken (which are on the template) [image1], or the footer/right-bar displays but the excerpts from the blog doesn't [image2].
    Although if I click on the article itself, it works perfectly[image3].

    Here is what I have

    I have got a template called BlogTemplateHome, in which I have:

    [[$doctypeTEST]]
    <div id="container">
    [[$NewNav-blue]]

    <div style="height:auto; width:980px; margin:0 auto;">
    [[*content]]

    </div>

    [[$footerTEST]]
    [[$googleanalytics]]
    </body></html>

    And on resources, I have a created a Article that contains blog posts that has BlogTemplateHome template selected and on it's content it has:

    <div class="blog-body">

    [[+articles]]

    [[+paging]]

    </div>

    The navigation and the footer are the same used across the website, so they don't have anything wrong with them.

    Looks like there is a closing div missing or something but I've checked all of them.

    Help please!

      When you say you've checked them, do you mean you checked them with a validator like http://validator.w3.org/

        No I had checked through the chunks... Okay, I put through validator and It says it has 3 unclosed divs:

        <div class="blog-body">
        <div style="height:auto; width:980px; margin:0 auto;">
        <div id="container">

        But i can go to the end of my template or [[*content]] and place closing divs, but it just ignores it.
        In fact I placed lots of "</div>"s and it was completely ignored.

          Without being able to see a page source view, I can't begin to guess where the actual problem lies.

                  That's just nasty. Who is copy/pasting from Word? You've got an extra closing </div> tag in that mess.

                  There is no such meta tag as "title".
                      <meta name="title" content="Trouble with "Articles" add on -> It makes footer desepear ">

                  Bad value title for attribute name on element meta: Keyword title is not registered
                  And even if there were, you can't embed quote marks like that.

                    Awesome.

                    I didn't put those tags in there, they were imported from Wordpress. Probably the person who created the blog post on Wordpress copied from a Word document, and thats how the tags came along.

                    Thank you very much.
