getPage and split pagination

In migrating from Evo to Revo I'm on a steep learning curve and noticing that a few beloved features in Evo seem to be missing in Revo.

Posting here to ask if there is a way to split paginate with getPage/getResources? I used Nick Crossland's splitPagination snippet with Ditto result sets in Evo.

Any info very welcome. Thanks!

I am currently converting from Evo to Revo and am experiencing the same problem

Yes, I used GetPage https://rtfm.modx.com/extras/revo/getpage to setup the pagination and it's working well. Best wishes with your move over to Revo

You might want to look at pdoTools. It comes with a number of listing snippets, pdoMenu and pdoResources and pdoPage that work much like Wayfinder, getResources and getPage, but more efficiently and with a lot of other tools included. I'd also recommend ModDevTools.

Please correct me if I am wrong - after installing pdotools can I simply change the snippet call name from "getResources" to "pdoResources"

Looking at the page you have linked to, the properties seem to be the same

Does "pdoMenu" replace "getPage"

Took a while to get my head around how the templating works as it's not exactly the same as getresources, but all now works perfectly

@ craigphiz - You can create an exact copy of the Splitpagination functionality with PdoTools (take a look here)

Glad it's working well for you! Looks much easier to implement than with GetPage, etc. as I used. Nice to know that ajax pagination is built in too.
