I have a wierd problem (using MODx for years and this is the first time this happened to me).
Go to
http://www.ecos-yachting.com/
You should see the site rendering wrong. If you hit Ctrl+F5 (using Firefox) everything "return to normal"!
My .htaccess looks like this:
