Hi, I have MODX Revolution 2.2.7-pl (traditional) installed on Zeus.
This is an upgrade from a previous version, not sure what one, maybe 2 years old.

I first had a problem where the homepage would go blank. No error, just a white page.
It comes back if I clear the cache. This seem sto be a common problem with Modx, Its happened to me with about 5 sites so far all on different servers.

After reading some postes in this forum I decided to upgrade to 2.2.7 a few weeks ago.
All was fine until yesterday when again I started losing the homepage again, only this time its not blank, I have a 500 error instead.

    PHP 5.3.25
    CGI/FastCGI
I think mysql is 5.0.67 (not 100% sure).

      Hello,

First off I would STRONGLY recommend upgrading to 2.2.8 as there is a major security issue (see: https://forums.modx.com/thread/84894/revolution-2-2-8-out-now-critical-security-fixes/#dis-post-468081). Now getting back to your issue, generally a 500 error points to something with your server configuration or permissions.

Could you check your error_log to see what if anything is reported, and also verify all files have the correct permissions?
