Searching forums

Hi,
For the past couple of days it seems to have become impossible to search the posts in the foruma(or at least it has for me) = anyone else encountering this problem. I've tried different browsers but what seems to happen is that if a search works and returns results I can look at one of the results then if I press the back button on the browser it takes me back to an empty search form and if I repeat the search it says there were no results found.

They're working on the search functionality.

Try Google, using site:forums.modx.com then your search terms.

They're setting up a dedicated search engine using this http://lucene.apache.org/solr/ so it should be pretty nice, as well as fast, once they get it all set up and configured.

It's pretty interesting; I hope somebody writes a blog post about it.

Hope the current loss of search function is just related to them setting up something that is going to be sooo much better

Oops it doesn't seem to be restricted to search. I get a blank screen after I submit a post as well!
