Hi I am trying to acheive a certain getresource output on a new blog im working on for me and my wife using modX. I have a working knowledge of articles and getResources but some advanced modX related stuff still eludes me. this is specifically what I'm trying to achieve:

    1. I would like to "associate" or perhaps "tag" each new "blog post" in articles with its own specific image file i can upload to the site.

    2. Then on the home page i would like to use "getResources" to output the recent blog posts using a styling consisting of this "associated" image, and an overlay div where the title would go. this would link to the full blog post in articles. (I have an image example of how i would like this output to look)

Is this achievable with articles/getResoruces alone? what steps do i need to take to do this? Thanks for any insight!

This is definitely achievable with getResources and/or articles you just need to make a Template Variable for your image and use that image in your tpl that will style your getResources or articles call.
