Another custom site we recently built using MODX. This site is using FlexSlider and Articles. In fact, we're soon to be abusing the articles capabilities for showcasing actual water samples from various regions of Houston, Texas and it's surrounding areas.
Client was eager to get this thing launched so some elements are going to be added live at a later time. Overall, it's a fun project. Lots of bright and colorful imagery used.

Hm. I find Articles to be rather restrictive; I prefer using MIGXdb for things like that. You can use the MIGx TV to manage the items for their respective resources easily (i.e. sample from Houston, sample from Dallas, etc), or use the CMP method to manage them separately from any "parent" resources, or even use a different table altogether.

I have not yet tried MIGXdb (because I'm still noobish) nor have I really known about it until now.
Also, as I'm still learning the ins and outs of MODX, our challenge is to make this where THE CLIENT is restricted to what they can and cannot do in order to keep from really messing things up.
My gears are turning with this one because a TV selector might help better guide a user as to what and where they put things.
In summary: "I like it!"
