    Hi

    When I select image from fckeditor to insert into WYSIWYG editor the path displayed in Insert/Edit window is not the actual path of images folder. In detail;
    I click the Insert/Edit image button in WYSIWYG editor and click on browse button. Then select an image from the fckeditor window .But when selecting the image, the path of the image appeared in insert/edit images window is not the actual path. I got " /assets/images/images/imagename.jpg" but actual path is "/assets/images/imagename.jpg" . Same case happens when try to insert files. I got "/assets/images/files/filename. But actual path is "/assets/files/filename".

    How can I solve this ?

    Pls help me ...

    thanks

      I had the same issue in a way.

      all my images are in root/images, fck would say they were in root/assets/images...

      I admin my own server and the fix or band-aid in my case was a simple symlink of root/images to root/assets/images.

      not sure why this happens but this will work on a *nix based host if you can get a symlink setup.

      Good Luck!

          Not sure how they are.. or even what they use.. if it is a nix system you can create a symlink with almost any ftp client. In the unlikely event it is a nix system and you have shell access you would need to use the ln command. Guess it helps to have your own server...

          I know there are a few other threads on this - not sure what they came up with but I would think hacking up some core code would be the best fix.

          Good Luck!
