Which search snippet?

    Hi,

    I have several checkboxes and some radionbuttons and dropdowns to choose values from, and a search field (text input) to type in the word to search. And all the data in database. I need to take the value from the input box and other form fields and then send a query and get the results from the database. Which MODx snippet can help me do this? simpleSearch or advSearch?

      You can try using AdvSearch as it sounds more on par with what you're doing, though I don't have a whole lot of experience working with it.

      Is all the data in the MODX database, as resources? Or are you using a custom data model?

        all the data in mysql/xampp. just hundreds and thousands of names in mysql. thanks.
