Re-launch of Woodlands Ad Agency's Website

After using MODX for a few months now I took a risk and decided to not just update, but completely rebuild our own website.

http://woodlandsadagency.com/

We're using LayerSlider with MIGX to control the image input and animations on the home page.
The portfolio page is simply a watered down version of Articles. And of course our blog *IS* articles.
Almost every sub page is using MIGX / Shadowbox to control the image display with a twist. We also have a separate MIGX specifically for video.

I can't really say there is anything "Fancy" about this site other than the fact that MODX made it relatively EASY to do exactly what we wanted.

We really wanted to be able to showcase our work in this site which is a combination of our photography, graphic & branding, website design, and seo/marketing results.

Hope you enjoy it 1/2 as much as we had fun making it.

We still have a LOT more to put into the site but for now, this will do until we find more time. [ed. note: adagency last edited this post 13 years, 4 months ago.]

Nice. Well-done responsive template.

Yeah, I give credit to Zurb Foundation and SASS. But for the record, "Template" to us is 100% original design work - not to be mistaken for pre-built designs which we avoid like the plague.
There was a learning curve to it all but now we are a little more comfortable with it although still learning MODX. (Although I don't think we will ever TRULY learn MODX 100%)
MODX is like the "photoshop" of CMS. There's always something new to learn from it.

You're so good at spotting things, I am always eager to see your replies!

Thanks! [ed. note: adagency last edited this post 13 years, 4 months ago.]
