C:/ instead of http://localhost/

Hi,

These forums have been brilliant and I feel kind of selfish asking lots of questions, but I’m gonna go ahead anyway, at least until I’ve learnt enough to share some knowledge

I’m having a problem with a snippet. It uses the [base_path] thingmy, but instead of reading the link as a http:/localhost/ path it’s reading it as a C:/xampp/htdocs/ path.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

What your snippet is returning is correct. http://localhost is actually an URL, not a path. Try to use base_url instead, if you want an url.
