My Tiny MCE editor has just started playing up. With it on, I have entered content, changed font size, colour, etc. But when I save it strips out all formatting and tags. If I type 'Hello' and then turn it to NONE there are no <p> tags enclosing it. The format seems stuck on 'Format' option whereas I usually use 'Paragraph'.
Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how do I solve as I am worried about changing anything in my pages in case it strips out all the tags.

I have just tested a page currently on Modx. with Tiny off the content reads as follows

It is as if the editor forgets all tags, spaces, etc. Does anyone know why this would happen?

It depends on what's in the database when the content gets loaded. If you've removed all tinymce formatting then saved, when it's loaded it will get loaded with no formatting. The text itself may have line breaks like /r or /l, but you since the form is in a web page, you'll see HTML formatting, and HTML does not recognize text line breaks.
The page was currently loaded onto the website and has been modified before. It has only started happening today, and it seems it happens to any page I try to modify. Is there something I can do to stop it?

When I delete everything off and come back into the page. With Tiny mce off I have an html tag in the box. This sounds similar to what Sottwell was saying, how do I correct?

Just an update, having viewed my source code I found this:
<div id="content">
<html />
</div>
My template code is written as this:
<div id="content">
[*content*]
</div>
In all my pages the tag starts as <p> for paragraph. The offending <html/> tag seems to be the problem but it seems I cannot remove it? Hopefully this will make sense to someone as I am unable to update any of my website at the moment.
