I need to create a client-manageable portfolio for a client. What I’m looking to do is have a way for the client to add projects to their portfolio and each project clickable to display a small gallery and brief description. I can do it with AJAX if needs be, but the key is to have it manageable by the client. So, in essence it looks like this:

    Main Menu

    -Home
    -Serivces
    -Portfolio
    -About
    -Contact

After they click on Portfolio they’re taken to a page with four links - one for each portfolio (Commercial, Residential, Public, Development). Then on each of the individual pages there has to be a list of all of the corresponding projects.

    Commerical Portfolio
    - Project 1
    - Project 2
    - Project 3
    and so on...

What I need to do from here is create a way for each of those project links to open up a brief description and gallery for that specific link. How should I go about doing this so it doesn’t make it difficult on the client to manage and add new projects? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I believe I can manage the building of it, I’m just looking for suggestions on how to structure this whole thing and what snippets would work best. Thanks!

      ganeshXL,
Thanks for the reply! I was thinking that would be the way to do it, but when I get into it, it seems there’s a lot of "nested" information. For example, each project within the category will need it’s own manageable gallery and brief description. For example:

      Portfolio > Commercial > Project x
      Porftolio > Commercial > Project y
      Portfolio > Commerical > Project z

Plus, the client needs to be able to add these projects himself as he needs to. So, I may have run into a snag here. Not sure it can be done the way I need it to be done. Here’s another example of the template I might have for each project within either one of the four portfolios:

[+jobName+]

[+jobDescription+]

[+listItem1+]

[+listItem2+]

[+listItem3+]

         [!MaxiGallery?........!]

But, on the main Commerical Portfolio page there will be a list of each one of the Projects. That list will be clickable as to call the template above and display the information they’re looking for. Is there an easy way to do this?
