importX not importing tv's

I have set importX to 'update' various resources via csv file.
All updated without any errors, however, all custom TV's did not update. Any ideas why this may be?

For instance I am importing a TV named as "tv1". However, my TV is actually named as doc_tv_image (with an id of 1), therefore do I stick with "tv1" or use "doc_tv_image1"? [ed. note: northernape last edited this post 13 years, 4 months ago.]

I had some problems with this at one time. As far as I remember ImportX doesn't work with update on TV's. I think the easier way is to do the import directly to the database using phpMyAdmin.

But for importing tv1 is correct, not the name.

Now working. There's a fix in a pull request on github https://github.com/Mark-H/importX/pulls

The pull request I authored may wipe any TVs that aren't set in the spreadsheet, but at least it allows you to update TVs
