How do I set resource fields for the current resource in a snippet?

I have a modx installation with 4 different contexts, in the default context there are folders with common information to the other three sites. What I need to do is pull all the information from one of the resources in the default context and populate all the fields [pagetitle, content, TV Values etc.] of another resource in a different context.
Essentially creating a resource "on the fly"

any thoughts on how to do this?
