I am trying to remove access to PDF files I have uploaded. I have unpublished the pages that have links to them, but one would still have access to them if they know the URL. Is there a way to accomplish this without deleting the PDFs?

You can either move them to another directory or you can put them in a resource group that only admins can access.

If you are using Revo, you can put them outside the web root and use Static Resources to access them. Since they are outside of the web root they cannot be accessed via the web, and the URL used to access them is to the resource, not to the files themselves. The static resources can be protected like any other resource.
